The National Enterprise “Interdepartmental Science & Technology Center “Agrobiotech” was created in 2000 by the joint decision of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the basis of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry Institute (BCPI) NAS of Ukraine.

Today NE ISTC “Agrobiotech” occupies one of the leading positions in Ukraine in creation, production and application of high technologies with the use of plant growth regulators in an agrarian complex and forestry.

During 20 years from the foundation of the Bioorganic Chemistry & Petrochemistry Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine we developed a whole series of plant growth regulators of a new generation, characterized by high efficiency and ecological safety.

In the development of unique growth regulators, working of energy-saving technologies of their application specialists more than 30 research organizations of Ukraine and CIS countries took part. The plant growth regulators of natural origin (on the basis of recrement of fungi-micromicets from root system of some herbs), analogues of phytohormones and composite preparations are created for the agriculture and biotechnology.
